About MeDr. Fisher’s work over the last twenty-five years has taken her across a variety of venues. She is an experienced individual psychotherapist, group leader, public speaker, workshop leader and community activist. She works in full-time private practice in Chicago, IL. She has developed a particular focus on working with creatives, high-performers, senior-level executives and philanthropists. Her practice includes intensive psychotherapy as well as coaching and personal leadership development. Her work toward making a difference at the community level began in policy and advocacy on Capitol Hill and locally as a trusted community activist. She has served on numerous non-profit boards as an advisor, strategist and spokesperson. She has developed strategic plans for several non-profit organizations and has formulated white papers on educational and child/family issues. During her time in DC, she served as an issue consultant to numerous columnists, talk show hosts and press sources as well. Later, she hosted a live-talk political radio show. She has been featured in Newsweek, the Washington Times, the Chicago Tribune, Investor’s Business Daily and numerous books and publications.
